Queer Somatics aspires to be a safe, trusted go-to resource for queer and trans folks looking for support around embodiment, sex, intimacy and resilience. We're looking to grow into a collective of queer and trans practitioners serving queer and trans folks.

We are currently an initiative run primarily by Skylar Haven (they/them), but one person can't do it all. That's where you come in! If any of the following opportunities interest you, please reach out.

Intern
Social media / PR / Marketing

Would you like to do an internship with Queer Somatics? Does designing / supporting activities related to PR / marketing / social media excite you?

You’ll get to help come up with new ideas and/or execute existing ideas around raising visibility and awareness so that more folks can access competent, ethical, trans and queer celebrating, sex positive support.

Volunteers to appear in marketing materials

As part of an initiative to create materials that make it more clear what to expect around sex coaching, sexological bodywork or massage, we need a few volunteers to appear in photographs or videos which will be used on the website and/or social media. All genders, expressions, and body types welcome to apply.

Workshop facilitators, co-facilitators and assistants

Would you like to be part of creating spaces for queer and trans folks to explore embodiment, sex, intimacy, pleasure and rest? Spaces that prioritise embodied consent, queerness and the gender galaxy?

Part of creating a safer space involves having adequate support holding that space. Facilitators, co-facilitators and assistants are an instrumental part of creating and holding space for events. Depending on the event assistant roles may be unpaid, paid or offered an exchange of value.

Pitch an idea

Interested in working with Queer Somatics but don’t see a role fit for you listed? Maybe you are a queer / trans practitioner, coach or bodyworker or maybe you have another skillset. You are invited to send a message with your ideas and join the mailing list to be updated when new roles are listed.
